Below are the download links and instructions to run the maps from PvE (January 2019 - December 2021).
Warning:
Note that extracting a file is a copy operation and that these grow by about 30% when extracted. Unless you have 250GB of free drive space sitting around, you'll have to be careful and tactical about the order of these things, or you might just be unable to download the maps. Additionally, it is not required to use the nether and end files. If you don't include them, it will just regenerate a new nether and end.

To make them usable in single-player [1]:
1.) Download an overworld (world or peaceful).
2.) Download nether.
3.) Download end.
4.) Unzip all 3.
5.) Rename nether folder to DIM-1
6.) Rename end folder DIM1

7.) Move both DIM
folders into the overworld folder. It should look something like:

8.) Move the entire overworld folder (world
or peaceful
) to wherever your game save files are.
- Windows:
%appdata%/.minecraft/saves
- Mac: Maybe the same as Linux, but we don't know for sure.
- Linux: Probably
~/.minecraft/saves

9.) Delete the .zip files you downloaded.
