Spooky season is upon us! 👻
To celebrate, we’re bringing you a special holiday event. In this event, players can work together with their town members to decorate their town in PvE however they like, as long as it fits the Halloween theme. That means you can get out your pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, turn your castles gothic, transform your cave base into a monster hideout, or whatever your ghoulish heart desires. May the spookiest or the best-decorated town win!
Event Sign-Up
To sign up to participate in this event, in one comment on this forum post, one member of a town must type:
1.) Their town’s name,
2.) The xyz coordinates of where staff should teleport to on judging day, and
3.) The Minecraft username of one town member. We need this so staff can distribute rewards, so we’ll place the reward(s) in this player’s inventory.
If you'd like to represent and decorate a base instead of a Towny town, please mention this in your comment. Please include all of these 3 steps! If you’re having difficulty signing up here on the forums, send a direct message to either EssoABC#9476 or springcricket#5995 on Discord. They will make a comment here on the forums for you.
Important Dates
You can start decorating your town right now with your fellow town members! The deadline to sign your town up is October 28 at 11:59pm EST. Make sure to sign up as soon as possible as staff will not visit any towns submitted after the deadline. Staff members will judge all submitted towns on October 29-30, so submitted towns will have until then to finish decorating. Results will be posted on October 31 in the #server-news Discord channel and as a comment on this forum post.
Rewards
After the event ends, all participating towns will be given an enchanted jack-o-lantern. The winning town’s participants will have their heads displayed at PvE’s spawn, and the top 3 towns will each be given a corresponding medal. All rewards are 1 item per town.
Update: If at least 10 people (from at least 5 different towns signed up) participate, there will be FREE DISCORD NITRO as the first place prize!
